This is my next work from the Painting in the Moment Series. Not as abstract as the last one possibly because the area on the canvas was much smaller to work on than the last painting. Anyway this one still was started with no preconceived idea of what I was painting. Started out with wind swept skies and the colors were calling me on this one. Anyway the sky looked a bit lonely (even with all that color) so I thought it needed a bit of ground for company. The ground turned into a hill which also was calling for something which turned into the tree on the hill….
The undercoating was done in acrylic and it was finished off in Oils. This work was done on 14″ × 18″ stretched canvas
