The Voice Within…
She got lost inside her yesterday
as her thoughts rained on tomorrow
shadows lurking in the dark
feeding off the fear
of an internal sorrow
A lost soul that could not hear
for her now would not appear

Through the chaos of another storm
that came crashing into her world
A forgotten silence came around
to break through with its light
so her now could arrive
to hear the calling of her soul

And in the silence of the dark
a gentle voice she heard say

I am here now
and I am not
afraid anymore
