This young guy, Mvula, was staring longingly at a kill his brother made. He ended up stealing it from him later. His camouflage here is exquisite.

Very Nice shot, presume you were on small spot focus point or manual focus as grass is always difficult. Interesting how similar our two shots are next to each other on indigenous to east…. group, the 2 spotted cats in the grass
Hi John, most likely it was using spot focus but I do not specifically remember at the time. It also looks like we are neighbors, less than miles apart!
