  • Thank you very much Sandra…love that Alanis Morissette song, but ( alas) used the “clean” version instead of the one I really wanted! Appreciate your thoughtful comment!

Its the dried up Sea Bed thats the power behind this creation K ~ Travels or journeys followed and now the emptiness of that which remains, is not for the lesser mortal ~ Its the building of the Dam to replace the waters, that makes the person who has the ability to ride the past and create the destiny of future…….
    Thousand words Karen,thousand words

  • Thank you Rick…I did not realize how much this image took, emotionally speaking, until it was done. I was in some sort of zone when I did this and, when done, I could see how angry I still am over the mess he left behind. The Alanis Morissette song says it all…wanted to used the uncensored version as that was how I was feeling…but, even this one seemed a bit racy for me! I try, on occasion, to talk to someone about all the stuff that is quickly becoming buried ( as I walk about like I am feeling just fine….somewhat like you mentioned in your last image or comment….it’s all beginning to run together!)….but, have started to just give up on it…talking that is. Too much work, they don’t really get it, I am feeling too sorry for myself..the list of excuses is endless. It is much easier to just pretend all is well. Apparently all is not well ( I am not falling apart, however)…I am still pissed at how easily he got his life back and used my friend to do so. Hmmm…appears that I still have some anger work to do! Anyway..enough for now! Thanks so much for all your encouragement…it keeps me in touch with that which is buried 6 feet under…

I want you to be my art teacher dear Karen:)

    I love it:)
Such the beautiful artwork from your tender heart & arrangement.. Thank you to inspire me and friends:)
Hug someone everyday, life is too short as we know…

  • Thank you! Quite possibly the nicest comment/ compliment I have ever received! You are much too kind! I believe anyone can be technically taught…but any work that comes from the heart and soul of it’s maker is art to me as it expresses something about who did it….and that cannot be taught. You are already an artist and one who ought to remain true to herself as you do beautiful work!
