The front of Carnton Plantation in Franklin Tennessee…it is famous for serving as a hospital during the Civil War’s Battle of Franklin. It also has the largest privately owned Confederate cemetery in the U.S.

Thank you Di! As a matter of fact..it is said to be haunted by the ghosts of Civil War soldiers! The back porch also had the bodies of 4 or 5 generals who died in this battle. It is one of my favorite places to visit!
