Went for a walk in the National Park at Woodgate Beach and came across thousands of these funnel shaped spiders webs hanging from trees.
According to google, funnel web spiders nest in the ground. Do you know what they are???

Great light and capture Myra … I couldn’t help with the spiders other than I wouldn’t get too close!
Thanks for your great comment Susie.

Fascinating shot Myra ! I’m not sure about the web, but if the spider is inside the curled leaf at the base of the web, it is probably a Leaf-curling Spider. Their webs are usually more of an orb shape, but it may be that the available attachments resulted in a different shaped web.
Thanks for the fave.and great comment Trish.
Went for a six kilometer walk in this National Park yesterday and took a few more shots of these amazing webs. They do come in all different shapes and sizes.
