Oh this is different, I like this a lot. The forest from where the figure came looks simultaneously magical and down to earth kind of pretty… it could easily be viewed either way. Inside the tunnel is really down to earth and an everyday looking place… then those butterflies add that something special with their ‘unexpected beauty’. The title for this is perfect! :o)
Thanks so much for your comments. It is a bit different from my usual stuff. I am trying out a few new ideas I have had.

Lovely use of colour – a very eerie feel with the hooded figure leading into the dark area
Thanks very much :)

This is so beautiful and yet, it holds an almost palpable sadness. the richness of the Autumn colours, and the slight mistiness behind the entering figures is wonderful. The fact that the figure is shrouded, indistinct and slightly bent in on itself adds to the feeling of sadness. Those doors, disappearing up into nothingness, have a feel of solidity, strength to them and they comine with those wonderfully shiny, undulating tiles to make a profoundly thought-provoking image .
I love your analysis of this image Clarkey. I think your spot on with it too. I think it can be interpreted in so many ways.

I LIKE!!! :)) Different for you, but still definitely still has your style. To me, The figure has an air of resignation…a little like a child who knows they have to go home, but they would rather stay and play!
Thanks Jane. It is definitely different for me. I am trying to branch out a bit whilst still maintaining my own style that ppl have come to recognise. I love your analysis too. Everyone gets a different feeling from this :)
