This is a very exciting collaboration with earthairfire. Tim and I are both members of A Photographer’s Craft and were paired up for the group’s current challenge Roads. We wanted to approach this collaboration from the perspective of someone who is on the road to recovery…

So what do you get when you team up two passionate, slightly opinionated artists who both know what they like and dislike? You end up with Cocoon:

The Butterfly
The butterfly is ever more blessed than other creatures of flight.
Though all grace the heavens in the ecstasy of flight,
the butterfly has known the drudgery of the crawl
and the lonely confinement of the cocoon.
Her new found freedom is richer,
wilder and more thrilling than life itself.
This is the beauty of recovery…
