This alternate view of the mill, was taken from the Hunterton County Art museum. The little houses on the window sill are part of their exhibit.
I liked the contrast of the mill beyond the glass and the darkness around it.

The old red mill is a landmark in Clinton, NJ. Built originally as a wool mill in 1810, it was converted in the late 1800’s to a grist mill. Now a museum, with the mill wheel still being powered by the river and falls. Perhaps if we were as smart as our ancestors we would think of a way to generate energy again from free sources of energy like the waves of the oceans, the rivers power, and the wind, phasing out gas, and polution generating sources of energy..

lovely shot nice work with the lighting

  • Thank Joak, as I was walking around this art gallery I kept looking out the windows which offered another piece of art in my mind, that’s when I decided to start taking photos of it, sort of my view of art in art..

I agree with Joak…also, nice touch with the little houses in the foreground!

  • Thanks Ed, I can’t take credit for the little houses they were just there as part of the exhibit, I did think they enhanced my view of the mill.
