The World Beyond the Window

Day starts once again
Daylight moves black to blue
As the increasing light
Changes the green tree to lime
The sun dances in the sky
Beyond the window glass
The world begins moving
The same repetitive movements
As people get into axle wheel position
And I start my day without you still..

Take a walk in Magnolia Plantation, SC in the spring and you’ll see live oak trees covered with spanish moss, azaleas in bloom and just wonderful flowers everywhere. This is a place left pretty much in tack, from before the civil war in the US. The grounds are beautiful, the house much smaller that one might imagine.
