My favorite spot any season, this shot was taken in October when the leaves are changing.. The northern birds come to NJ to overwinter which is why there are so many on the river. The River is the South Branch, the town Clinton, NJ USA. the Old Red Mill is now a working museum, and reflects the historic nature of the town built along the river in the early 1700s. If you’re near by it’s worth a stop.

    I love it any time of the year. I’m trying to get shots of it in all 4 seasons. It’s close to home so I run over there a lot. Pictures good for the little shops in the town too.

    This is just a beautiful scene. I love the red always…..but how fun that you captured all the geese and the essence of fall. I love the red canoes as well. Very nice composition. The title says it all. It is a great shot.

    LOL! I really smilled at that thought. Now I see why no one starves in the North! Lots off fatted geese.. As for more, we surely love them but the do tend to multiply don’t they.
