Summer Memories

Hunting Island State Park beach, South Carolina USA

Lovely public beach with excellent camp grounds right on the beach for those who like to camp. Also rents basic cottages on the beach but must book those a year in advance. If you love the beach bring your misquito spray and enjoy..

Wonderful shot, the softness of the scape set off the almost silhouette of the visitors perfectly

Thanks Mike, are you house bound these days? I love beaches we have nice ones where I’m living now just not empty ones like in SC. SC the beaches never seem crowded..

Me too.. I’m 20 minutes from the nearest beach here in NJ but it’s way more crowded and not as scenic although the water is great and they have bigger waves here, so I guess it balances out.

Lucky you, you have some of the nices beaches in the US there.. My brother use to live in Montrey so I know some of those spectacular beaches down US 1. Can’t be beat, along with great camping along the beach.. Enjoy.

Thanks Joan, yes it’s a nice beach. People ride bikes, fish, swim, porpoise watch, collect shells. Lots to do..
