At Rest - Forest of Wolves Series
These lovely wolves are protected in a preserve called the Lakota Wolf Wildlife Preserve, in Columbia NJ. If you live close to NJ or Penn. it’s worth a visit. They have regular tours and Photo tours, I took these shots on the regular tour, although the other tour is probably better for a serious photography experience with wolves.
This image was digitally enhanced with the ink brush stroke filters.
Part of the proceeds from the profits of the sales of these prints will be donated to the organization.

Mary Campbell replied
Thanks Joak, do they have wolves in Scotland?
joak
only in reserves there has been talk of reintroducing them but it has been met with resistance mainly frae greedy landowners.the last one was killed around 1746 i think i would have them back tomorrow!
Mary Campbell replied
Well it’s been a while for sure [1741 :) ] I think it’s going to be the wolfs fate worldwide unfortunately. At least their as still some preserves as the one here where we can see their magnificance and allow them to roam semi-wild.
joak
