Alright I am finally able to post and respond
I have not killed her, and torn the computer out of her cold dead hands.. (which is the only way she would give it up) BUT I did plug in my laptop with a broken screen to a new external screen, and set it up on my drafting/painting/smoking/drawing/genius making table..
