This structure was initially constructed in 1929 as a Masonic temple, but it was never completed and it remained an eyesore to the skyline of Providence, RI for almost 80 years. It has since been restored as the Renaissance Providence Hotel.

Holga image using 20 year expired AGFA film. No digital manipulation.

I seriously think this is my favorite Holga image of all time. Seriously.
    Terrific job!

  • Thank you Steve! If only I could get my hands on more of this film. It was AGFA Chrome RS 50 that expired in 1988. RS 100 is cool, but it’s not quite the same as RS 50.

Paul, this is such a cool shot of a Providence gem that sat overlooked for years. Rock on and say hello to Nicole.

  • Thanks John! And I will say hi.
