Reflections Of The Simple Life

Okay back to my favorite kind of photo – hanging out the window…..lol….on our way to Lake Tahoe we drove by Topaz Lake and oh my gosh, what a beautiful place this would be to live. Just a small town with such beautiful homes built in a small community. I was so happy to see that I was fast enough with my camera to capture the Cross that overlooks this small town!

LMAO, Carol every time you mention hanging out the door for a photo, you with your hair blowing around in your face and your tongue flopping around in the air like a little puppy keeps popping in my head lol!!!!!!!! This is another awesome shot, well done!!!!!! Hanging out the window pays off big time for you lol!!!!!!!

  • Carol Barona replied

glad i could make you laugh – i bet alot of people that see me do the same – camera strap around my neck – seatbelt all pulled out the window – i try to keep my tongue in my mouth – and my hair i got smart with that – i keep it in ponytail anytime i have my camera – got too many shots of my hair in the “hanging out the window shot” Thanks so much!

I’d be curious to know why so few live in such a “scenic’ idyllic location?

  • Carol Barona replied

i am sure the cost has something to do with it…i noticed as we drove by that they had quite a few new homes being built – but not sure…thanks for looking

It appears that there is somewhat of a drought … the land looks “dried” out as does the lake’s water level, quite low, and the foreground land appears dry … hmmmm no matter… though “appearances” can be deceptive, as in expensive “new” homes, in an isolated area … Hope you enjoyed your holiday …

  • Carol Barona replied

i did have a wonderful time, thank you!
