Hi Mike,
I was at Pelican Point in Pismo Beach. I was standing on the balcony they have overhanging the ocean and it was freezing cold. I stood out there snapping photos for over 45 minutes. I have a whole bunch of different shots – just don’t want to overwhelm everyone.

Hi Carol, great shots of this beautiful Pelican. Love the details of his wing feathers, but how did you get above him? Looks like you had to be up there flying with him to get this great ariel shot.

Thanks so much Ed. I was on the balcony of a restaurant that hung out over the ocean (It was kind of scary) These Pelicans did fly bys once in awhile. We were inside eating, when I saw a few take off and I jumped up and ran out with my camera. It was so cold! But well worth it.!
