Taken on Scenic Drive. Carmel, California. November, 2007.There’s an interesting story behind this photograph, and #244, "Scenic & 8th. I was in a local camera store in Carmel, the manager of the store was telling me my camera was a toy because it wasn’t a high priced SLR, like he seels in the store. Obviously this annoyed me because i knew what my camera was capable of doing. So I left the store, walked down toward the beach, saw these Cypress trees, and took these shots in about five minutes.I then walked back up to the camera store, and showed them to the manager, and the staff. They were impressed with the quality of the images.I love my camera! I’m using the Panasonic Lumix FZ-50 That is what I used to take almost all the photographs in my portfolio. I’m satisfied with the performance of that camera. The images speak for themselves.
