I really dislike writing these things. I never know which “me” I want to present to the world at any given moment. It depends on the audience and my particular mood at the time. I’m terribly eclectic.

Basic facts: I’m a stay-at-home mom of two beautiful daughters. I take this job very seriously, and have a lot of fun at it! I’ve also been married for 18 years and live a bucolic suburban American life. This can be both a blessing and a curse, depending on your point of view.

Interesting(?) information: I have two dogs, three cats and a snake as pets (the snake is my 10year old daughters).

My family and I love to travel and many of my favorite images come from trips I’ve taken with them. Because my travel is with my husband and children, who are NOT photographers, I have to be willing to compromise and get the shots I can when I can.

Artistic Profile: I’ve been interested in photography since around 1989 when I bought my first 35mm SLR. I’ve tried my hand at everything from wedding, pet portraits, macro and digitally altered image photography. I even ventured down that dark alleyway called the craft of scrapbooking!

I also pursue an number of other arts and crafts. I’m an accomplished sewer and knitter. There isn’t an art or craft medium that I haven’t at least read about and dreamed of trying my hand at it.

I am currently in the planning stages of bringing all the eclectic segments of my world together in a craft based business. My goal is to provide a work space where crafters and artists can come together to explore their art and share their gifts with others. I will provide work space and supplies for people to try something new and to teach and learn from others.

I have a blog where I talk about my life, my art and the mess I make with it all: My Eclectic Mess
