double exposure with early black & white polaroid
Bah Bah black Sheep- A hippie, rebel, highly individual. While loving creativity I have always done battle with the practical/impractical aspects of life. Sitting here in my aerie observing the world, the stars above and the other pinpricks below..
Been writing poetry since I was 14, now 62

what’s this all about dear, combat training is my fav. Are thay twins or is that a spectacular mirror trick?
this was done in 71 while I was in the barracks stationed in remote Alaska, when you are remote you find ways to entertain yourself. One the early polaroid cameras that did not crank out the phot automatically, it stayed in camera until you yanked it out.
I marked the wall where I stood where the knife point would be, snapped the right side first, then with the same film, snapped the one reacting on the left…terrible composition, of course, but tricky to do since I was taking the picture myself. I used an old wind up clock with those bells on top, removed the bell, replaced it with a lever that would hit the button on the camera set on a desk. gave myself a minute to work and get myself in place…I was once a clever guy

I remember things in a distant way but can’t remember things two minutes ago, go figure

well, I went in as a hippie, the Air Force made me a combat cop…I looked nerdy back then, but I was in the best physical condition ever then
