sometimes,
much too specific.

I am thoughtful
and sentient
so I am told
I am playfully
far from innocent
and somewhat bold

I can be a friend
with a twist
you can be secure
that I am honest.

I’m brooding,
at times,
mind-polluting,

I’m thoughtful
and sentimental
sometimes
just mental

I’m singular
and alien
but friendly
and human

I am humane
and respect all
especially the animals

I am old
and ugly
but love the beautiful

I’m a hermit
but outgoing
aware and knowing

full of wisdom
I don’t always use

perpetual blues
