Acrylic on canvas, inspiration being wetlands nearby at sunset at the end of a very hot and humid day.
I paint because I love it like nothing else. Sometimes I paint realistically, sometimes abstract and can easily move between the styles,depending on my mood.
I am mainly self-taught, always experimenting with different techniques and approaches as it is my mission to keep fresh ideas flowing. Sometimes there will be hidden meanings, I would be interested in your response,so please comment freely!

I LOVE this…..reminds me of Fred Williams, one of my all time fave artists.
That is quite a big compliment – Fred Williams? I wish! he is one of my faves too. I read so many art books, maybe there was something in my memory about Fred’s work – it is never intentional.
