Max is a semi-retired 60+ boomer science guy, currently living in Ottawa, Canada’s capital. Growing up with photography and art in his family, he was self-taught ever since he developed his own films at the age of 13. “I do it for the sheer joy of creating an image regardless of whether it pleases, stuns or provokes”, he says. He likes to experiment and is currently exploring pinhole, Infra-red, panoramic, and high dynamic range photography.

Great image Max, love the lighting and DOF.
Thanks Nigel. Lighting was the dead-on late afternoon sun and the only way I could get decent short DOF was to crank out the zoom and step back a bit. Small format cameras give you way too much DOF, so much so that its hard to make the background less distracting.
