Wow, haven’t seen a sunset like that – EVER. Beautiful! Great shot! The leftover piers remind me of the Oriole Beach boat ramp after Ivan went through in ‘04.

We lived on Bay St. when Ivan hit – ouch – no more! Up high and dry now, north of I-10. My regards for TX. Our heart really goes out to the ppl there. Horrible devastation. Hopefully their day will come when God sends them a sunset as beautiful as the one you captured here.

Its a great shot of a beautiful sunset and magnificently reflected – but calling an orange/pink shot “blue” and entering it in a blue contest doesnt really work for me.

Micki , dont get me wrong tho, I think it is a gorgeous sky and very well taken too.

Well if this one is anything like what you can normally do in colour then I would feed it a little bit to see what happens if I were you. I tend to see monochromatic colour more as an extension of B&W than an extension of colour. eg my two dead tree shots.
