The Royal Australian Air Force held an air show at RAAF Air Base Williamtown, north of Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia on 3 April 1976.
This De Havilland Canada DHC-4 Caribou A4-125 (based at RAAF Air Base Richmond, west of Sydney) gave a demonstration of a low altitude parachute drop within its display – portrayed here.
The photo was taken with an Asahi Pentax SPII camera.
The photo was tweaked using Gimp software – smudge tool to cover some imperfections and brightness/contrast tool and sharpening filter.

Nicely captured Muz. An aeroplane you don’t see much of. – Ted
Thanks for your appreciation Ted.
If you get to Australia, the Historic Aircraft Restoration Society at Albion Park Airport, south of Wollongong, New South Wales has one that is still flying.
