In 1976 former Formula One motor racers, Jack Brabham (three times World Champion) from Australia and Stirling Moss from Great Britain, teamed up in an attempt to win Australia’s premier touring car race.
The then Hardie Ferodo 1000 was run at the Mount Panorama Race Track at Bathurst in western New South Wales, Australia.
This photo was taken of their test car (hence the numbering as “T”) during a practice session on Saturday 2nd October 1976. The car is a Holden Torana SLR5000.
The photo was taken with an Asahi Pentax SPII camera using Kodak transparency film.
