Broderick Smith of The Dingoes 1976 by

Radio Station 2JJ held a free concert at Dawes Point in The Rocks, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on 6 June 1976.
The Dingoes were one of the acts performing. Broderick Smith was their lead singer.
Radio Station was the Australian Broadcasting Commission’s newly established rock station at the time and broadcasted on the AM band then (1540). It has since transformed into 2JJJ and now broadcasts on the FM band as well as its internet presence.
The photo was taken with an Asahi Pentax SPII camera.
The photo has been tweaked after being scanned into my computer (originally a colour transparency) by use of Gimp software – using select/copy/paste tools to remove some imperfections and brightness/contrast tool and sharpening filter.

    Thanks for the appreciation.
The free concerts at this time were certainly good for photographing – you could get right up to the stage for close shot. I think it is a bit more controlled these days.
