This arch is a monument to the famous song of the French Revolution, “The Marseillais” and is located in, not unsurprisingly, Marseilles, in the south of France.
It is at Place Jules Guersde more or less south of the TGV Gare Saint-Charles rail station and is close by to the local Metro station of Jules Guesde (Line 2).
The photo was taken with a Sony DSC-W350 Cyber-shot digital pocket camera.
