In 2012 I visited France to retrace the route of my father’s escape from Nazi imprisonment during the Second Worl War. Among the French towns that he passed through during the escape was the town of Loches.
Shown in this photo is the outer walls of the Medieval City.
The photo was taken with a Nikon D70 camera fitted with a Tamron Aspherical AF LD DiII SP 11-18mm 1:4.5-5.6 [IF] zoom lens and polarizing filter.
The photo was tweaked using Gimp software – brightness/contrast tool and sharpening filter.
