This is a very popular dance amongst the womenfolk from the South Eastern part of Nigeria, amongst the Igbo speaking people, a major tribe.
Women adorn their waists and their ankles with different types of beads called jigida in their local language.
This joyous dance involves a vigorous shaking of midsection in tandem with fast paced percussion and drumming of the local band.
