Where would one start on this illustrious topic? Well I can only speak from my own personal experiences which I have been most fortunate to have. Having travelled quite extensively from an early age I have embraced and grabbed with both hands everything possible that this world has to offer, because lets face it you apparently only live once.
The pictures you will see here are part of a portfolio of work called the world and its culture. As you can guess they depict images taken in various countries around the world. Some will give only subtle hints as to their cultural meaning, but underneath the exterior of today’s materialism, religion and colour; what is there that separates us as a race…..nothing?

The first photo, ‘They Seek Him Here’, was taken at The Golden Temple in Amritsar in the northern Punjab region of India is the spiritual home of the Sikh faith. The water that surrounds the temple is known as the pool of nectar of immortality. Every Sikh tries to make a visit and bathe in the holy water.
