Story of the Unrequited
I wrote this a few months ago. I look back on it and it does sound a little too sad and desperate. I was going through a moment. I was full of emotion and angst and I had to get it out…so I wrote. :D I hope you guys love it.
Love can be a wonderful thing. It’s tragic, sad, depressing and physically painful but it can also bring out the best in you, can make you smile, make you happier than you can ever be and that is a beautiful thing.

You don’t know me but I know you. I’ve known you for a while. I see you everyday and you make me smile.
Across the room, out with your friends, walking past me in the corridor; just the knowledge of you being around gives me and excited nervousness that makes me feel beautiful, shining from the inside out. But then you leave and all the rainbows and butterflies follow.
I look at your face, those amazing eyes and glorius lips, wishing to touch your cheeks and run my hands through your soft hair.
Your expressions change frequently – I know them all. Your smiles and frowns, your laughs and all your tears. I know how you feel.
I look at you, wishing for a brief smile or a fleeting glance – something to make me remember that I’m not invisible; not seen by the world.
And though I’ll forever remain as a silent ghost to you – invisible and drifting between two worlds – I still love you. I’m still here. I’m real and with a beating heart that is slowly breaking because you’ll forever be blind to my affection – to my prescence.
I will forever remain unseen.

I wrote this ages ago! I look back on it and think of how innocent I really was. I was going through an “Emo Ana” kind of phase. I know, even I can’t believe it now!
