This painting is a detail of a large, square silk habotai scarf that I painted on a wonderful summer day in the open air. The cheerful flowers seem so inviting.. like a fairytale adventure just waiting for you!
Inspired by my mother’s flower garden and fairytales, of course. This scarf is a gift for my father, who said this was his favorite painting of mine. :)
