wow, i dont have a clue about cameras but i’d invest in one if i knew it could do this! But obvously ill still be lacking the skill you have..
maaaate dont say that at all.
1) this camera is about 6 years old and todays cameras are bigger and fancier etc. this particular camera i had bought so i could put a case around it and go scuba diving…its not a DSLR or anything
2) never done any camera courses, never studyed art or portrature or anything. so in short if i can do it, you bloody well can too – and probably better if you bought a newer camera.

Hehe as I said – I dont have a clue about cameras!! =)
The grain quality seems so good though, or at least it really impressed me.
Seems to me like you’ve got that talent to juct pick it up and go! Whereas I still cant focus properly on my crappy digital camera – which has automatic focus btw =)
so does mine. i focus the camera, theni often hold the “click” button half down and move it around a bit – the lens stays focused at what it was before, but as you move around you will then find parts that come in and out of focus.
and yeah, one thing i suppose you cant be taught is to have a good eye. i believe i do have that.

Cool, I always like abstract stuff….
So so beautiful in it’s wonderful simplicity of concept – you’re right – you can’t be ‘taught’ to ‘see’ something like this… wonderful textured b&w…

And I’ll just add that I picked it out of the ‘recent posts’ thread to look at more closely…
thank you kindly.
