i got no idea how you`re chopping this stuff out…but

if you zoom right up and use the polygonal lasso tool and use heaps of points you`ll get much smoother sillouettes, also just a touch of guasian blur like 2 or 3…um…bluritrons also does wonders for smoothing the thing out.
