Permit me to inform you of my desire of going into business relationship with you. I got your name and contact from our country chambers of industry (internet department). I prayed over it and selected your name among other names due to its esteeming nature and the recommendations given to me as a reputable and trust worthy person that I can do business with and by the recommendation , I must not hesitate to confide in you for this simple and sincere business .

I am Rita Daniel only Daughter of late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Daniel . My father was a very wealthy cocoa merchant in Abidjan , the economic capital of Ivory coast, my father was poisoned to death by his brother’s because of his wealth.
My mother died when I was a baby and since then my father took me so special. Before the death of my father on october 2007 in a private hospital here in Abidjan he secretly called me on his bed side and told me that he has the sum of Ten million,five hundred thousand United State Dollars. USD ($10,500,000.00) left in fixed suspense account in one of the prime bank here in Abidjan ,that he used my name as his only Daughter for the next of Kin in depositing of the fund. He also explained to me that it was because of this wealth that he was poisoned by his brother’s.

He said that I should seek for a foreign partner in a country of my choice where i will transfer this money and use it for investment purpose.
Dear, I am honourably seeking your assistance in the following ways:
(1)To serve as a guardian of this fund.
(2) To make arrangement for me to come over to your country to further my education and to secure a resident permit in your country.

Moreover, I am willing to offer you 15% of the total sum as compensation for your effort/ input after the successful transfer of this fund into your nominated account overseas.

Furthermore, you indicate your options towards assisting me as I believe that this transaction would be concluded within fourteen (14) days you resignify interest to assist me. Anticipating to hear from you soon. This to inform you that i am now in the reffuge camp since my uncles wanted to kill me so i ran to stay in the camp and it is in the camp that i am contacting you from. Please your urgent reply to this mail will give me to full impetus to forward to you all the informations about this fund.

    I love these!

    I used to get them all the time, but they have slowed down lately. I have got into month long conversations with the scammers before, it’s wonderful sport. Giving false bank and name details, asking them to send proof… it’s super fun

    I think as soon as you read “Dearest one” you know its a scam. I think you should do Adrian’s suggestion and scam the scammers. Thats a great idea! I got heaps of them when I tried to sell my car online.

    my friend had a lot of scammers when he was trying to buy a car ! one of the cars he tried to buy we ended up reporting to the cops about it.. lol.

    There is a site, I can’t tell you where exactly, that has a collection of these hilarious scams. This one, worded slightly differently appeared about a decade ago. The crazy thing is that over 2000 Australians alone still respond to these types of scams every year. Greed + Stupidity = Loser

    I get this sort of rubbish at least 20 times a week through my emails , I don’t even bother to read them , defintely a scam. A few of this sort of BM have been coming through lately , report it to RB , they need to be removed.

    the world is full of freaks. i’ve been getting weird scam emails in myspace too, from illiterate guys who claim to be college educated americans “in west africa on business.” call me cynical, but i just assume everyone i come into contact with on the internet (except redbubblers of course) is a scammer/pedophile/prison inmate/stalker, until proven otherwise…is that wrong? : D

    Total scam I was on the net for a friend couple of months ago.Who got a different letter,search scam/ fraud amazing what comes up, they make out it’s a lottery win etc.There was a letter very similar to the one you received
