What the fark is wrong with some people?
how can you so badly abuse TAG systems? i mean sure, try and come up with every related tag to your artwork is fine, but ust linking random words to a piece of artwork is just uncouth and not on.

If YOU see unreasonable TAGS, let them know, and shame them. Redbubble apparantly is powerless to stop this themselves at this point in time..
If tags arent used sensibly, they dont work.

here is an example of the tags added to a tshirt. only a handful could possibly be construed as related to the subject matter – the rest are just to grab any one trawling through redbubble.

the ONLY benefit i saw was that the sheer number of tags attached to the artwork made it almost impossible to load.

If your tagging your artwork inappropriatly, think of what it does to the tagging system – it renders it useless, thus no one will use it, and all your hardwork is for naught.

hang on…... this is for the one tee?? wow! i thought you were listing some ridiculous tag examples….. but then i saw that my illustrious “pooyourpants” was no there, then i was going to have a crack at you, b/c some people use the tags to explain their work, but you are TOTALLY right and hats off to you…... maybe this person wants their work to be found on every search ever….. maybe they are just silly?

Interesting. I was looking for something about slimemolds just the other day. But when I did a search for someassemblyrequired I got nothing.

I totally agree with you Mr Teeth ! Tags are useful to maybe get a few extra views from people who do searches, but they shouldn’t be used to dominate RB ! It back-fired anyway as the page would take so long to load that people would use the Back Button to go elsewhere. I think maybe they thought it was a cool, anarchistic, somehow amusing thing to do. But it wasn’t funny at all and what a lot of effort for a ” pile of Shite ” joke !
