Like everyone else, I grew up watching TV, and loved many of the old shows; Star Trek, Alias Smith & Jones, Time Tunnel, Batman, Monty Python, Dad’s Army, etc, etc. but nowadays I rarely watch it all, apart from occasional documentaries and stuff like ‘Time Team’. Even the BBC News cannot be trusted. They recently did a Newsnight item about the de-classification of MoD UFO files, but chose to ridicule the subject (predictably) by focusing on the crop-circle phenomenon, trotting out the ludicrous explanation that such intricate, mathematically perfect designs that often appear within minutes in pitch-darkness, are all the work of two old codgers armed with a plank of wood! When are we ever going to get an intelligent unbiased news coverage of this amazing inexplicable phenomenon?
Their (BBC) coverage of the so-called ‘War on Terror’, was also heavily biased in favour of the Bush/Blair allegiance. 9/11 too, no mention of the glaring anomalies in the official story. TV= BRAINWASHING!

i like to talk back to it .. even shout at it .. one good habit from my early upbringing in The Country, among people who accorded politicians and marketers their due respect, and no more than that .. no matter the means of intrusion by which they came.
