“The Edge of the World”, Kings Run, Tasmania…..
One of my images of the West Coast of Tasmania, after a recent trip with Garth to the sensational wildlife property known as Kings Run. The light was awesome, as was the scenery, most of these shots taken after climbing out onto huge rust-coloured monoliths surrounded by a viscious, pounding sea, and constant squalls coming from all directions throughout the afternoon….
It was an absolute buzz, just to actually be there, let alone taking pictures of it all…….it’s so hard to show the immense scope of this place, the terrain is mind boggling…
…….the best in Tassy, by far, for mine….
Canon 5D Mk II, 17 to 40mm lens, at 20mm,
ISO 50, F22 at 0.8 secs, 2 ND grads, 1/3rd under,
“colour temp” mode, a dash of contrast, and a wee dash of cropping……
Thanks Garth, and a special thanks to Joe, he owns the place!!
