The images for these three paintings kept bombarding me all through the nights, and were relentless until I painted them out. The bombarding had the nature of collated, rapid fire Gatling gun – like subliminal raw ingredients. It felt like I was having seizures the whole time of creation. Painting was like a fire storm! An explotion on canvas! There was no planning, technique, or preconception here. These came straight through me without stopping! I still have no clue what they are about or why they had such an urgency attached to them. Their intensity is very difficult for me to go back and look at now that they are finished…do not know why. I just had a sense that they have something to do with the transferrence or the taking of power. Sometimes I believe I am just an art lightning rod.

I feel at least one more clawing to get out….

Would love to hear your insights!

I have looked at both these images Mariam. Both are very intense and there is much to see and study. I will to this for you this week. I too have been painting from the early hours 2.35 am. There was also some sort of great urgency about the whole thing…maybe there is a connection. I must say that both paintings are wonderful and jump out off the page…I will talk soon.Thinking of you and feeling the vibrations of these works here….in London! Sending you a big healing hug my dear friend…..Sx

hmmmm…. i see the image of a little girl, perhaps hiding or wanting to get out…would be interesting to see the 2 paintings side by side…this one of the series actually gives me the feel of old religion at times, so many things to see in both pieces, the feelings can change in an instant almost as if on an emotional roller coaster
... as i said with the other piece, very intense work, and both must be studied for a while

As you know breathing controls the vitality of our life and this is something we all take for granted. Breath is something we need to sustain all our lives. The first thing Lightning Rod 1 does for me is talk about breath. In and out breath. The breath which helps change our conditions and brings awareness to what we actually do. Many people experience difficulty in breathing when they are upset, worried or anxious. This is my immediate feeling when looking and this painting…… After a while I am thrown into a very large expansive breath with this wonderful painting, which is full of awe, delight and life. I have needed a little while to study it, reflect on it and let the energising electric waves smooth and comfort me. This painting relates to your past lives Miriam. I can see so many different times within the layers of movement and paint. It would be good if you gave me your thoughts on this and then we could explore it together if you wish! This is so very joyful, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen such an inspiring painting. Hope you are enjoying the benefits of this painting….
Spirit is conveying a great deal to you!

Dearest Mariam…I don’t know what I love more, what you wrote or what you painted. They are both so powerful and as you said, full of urgency. There is a sense of a story that needs to be heard, read, listened to immediately. I love your piece, I can feel this piece of Art right in my heart. And that is possibly because it was done by you because you always speak truths in everything you do and everything you say…you are as vibrant as Masking Identity with Isolation my dear Mariam.
My thoughts are with you everyday hoping that you are healthy & getting stronger. XO
