Flash Fiction

You couldn’t accuse Regina of impatience. She quite liked the old geezer when they first married, and the sex wasn’t so bad … she even enjoyed it sometimes after he’d gone to sleep.

But truthfully, it was his money she was awaiting, and that shouldn’t have been long going by the smoker’s cough. She was sure he was ready to kick it any day. And kick it, he did!

Smoking that is. The old bastard decided to put the money he spent on cigarettes aside to buy himself a motorbike! “Tighter than a fish’s arse, and that’s water tight,” she’d thought at the time.

The smokes went! The cough disappeared! And he bought himself that bike. Reg’s excitement as they unloaded it from the trailer down at the MotoX Dome was not feigned. The whole deal turned her on, especially the greasy spanner under her car seat.
