The teddy bear tree
inspired by a photo of a tree taken that I swear contains a teddy bear spirit.
The teddy bear tree belongs to the following groups:
Art and Stories Made For ChildrenDown beside the old Teddy Bear Tree
if you look very closely you might see
one large gnome in a big blue hat,
two grumbling beetles and a purple cat,
three tiny fairies, pretty in pink,
four small dragons who are friendlier than you think,
five bright candles and six green books,
seven feather pens borrowed from some blue rooks,
eight naughty piglets all rolling in the mud,
nine orange cows all chewing on their cud,
a blanket and some treats, a pillow and a chair
for the magical picnic you and I can share.

Gorgeous on both counts!!!

Thanks Alison. We spotted it on our ‘red’ walk last night. Robyn nearly jumped out of her skin when I showed her. It was quite funny, but I had to play up that it looked like a teddy bear so she wouldn’t freak out entirely because it’s very near to her school.

LOL! I hope you’ll put this in Art and Stories Made For Children. We have woefully few written works!

I’ll have to rejoin, Alison.

Totally brilliant poem! Love it!!! Love the tree too (fantastic find)... the teddy looks like my bear ‘Nosy’ who I’ve had since I was Robyn’s age.

:o)
Maybe a growing tribute to Nosy!!!
