for the Flash Fiction tshirt collab weekend challenge.
Space Monkey by Tom Godfrey

Narnas belongs to the following groups:

Flash Fiction and Riginals

Cybermen! They said it was a myth, a Doctor Who invention. But they were wrong. They were real and they came to Earth. They set their machines in motion, converting all they could find into their evil species. Yet there was a flaw in their plan. Just a little mistake, one may think, a matter of a zero or two on their new time travel device.

“I am your leader, I am not wrong. I do not make mistakes,” said the Cyberleader.

If a Cyberman could shrug, then the ten survivors of the last war with the Daleks would have done just that.

The Cybercontroller turned rigidly and looked at the new recruits, with their ‘expressions’ and their voracious, insatiable, overwhelming hunger for … bananas.

I’m going to buy mine now. They’ll all be sold out by 2012.

Tom is one of my favouritest designers and I’ve just had a Doctor Who marathon overnight so I guess this story was inevitable. :o)

ha ha ha… I can see the monkeys overruling the Cybermen!!! That’s obviously why they sent a monkey into space and not a human!! Tom’s work is awesome… as always!!
