Artist's Description

The arch lies beneath the Djerriwarrh Bridge 1859 spanning the Djerriwarrh Creek (currently a dry gravel creek bed), the natural division between Moorabool (Bacchus Marsh) and Melton Shires. If you don’t know the bridge is there, while travelling along the Western Highway, you won’t see it, however there is a turn off on the north western side of the highway to a picnic area. Of sandstone construction , the bridge is classified by the National Trust.
