    This is pretty Anne, it looks like a cross between an oriental lilly and an agapanthus.

    Not sure what family Hippeastrums belong to. They’re a bulb so I don’t think agapanthus as they have tuberous roots. I guess a kind of lily and snails find them absolutely scrummy so vulnerable to attack. These are in a planter beside the lattice at my parents’ house (possibly for mum’s calendar).
