Who are you ?
No, who are you really ?
Are you everything you hoped you’d be ?
When you were small…everything seemed possible.
You drew, created and wrote.
You expressed yourself.
You showed your friends. Sometimes mum or dad even bought a picture.
(the going rate was 5 cents)
What changed ?
You got busy.
You had too much to do.
You lived in a society that said art didn’t matter.
It was peripheral, frivolous.
Well they were wrong.
Art does matter.
Inspiring yourself and others matters.
Creation is the core of who we are.
And learning about the world through someone’s else’s vision
makes us greater than ourselves.

its funny…you just put me in a nutshell…you know when you talk about being in a society that says art doesnt matter..your true…when you are little and in elementary school..they teach creativity…art classes…that kind of thing..but then boom..middle school and highschool—you must think like everyone else…forget art..do as we say…be like us…they are cutting art, and music programs…its unreal…ok..enough of my rant….
