So I’m staring through a tiny lens…
fleeting emails from my aunt
And I think that I can see light, see hope.
But I am wrong.
The cancer has consumed you whole.
The hum of your disintegration rings in my ears.
Savage cacophony, brutal reality,
Coming for us all.

Hi all,
thanks for your comments. I don’t have anything clever to say about it. the facts will not change.

This is an all too familiar tale. I lost a dear friend to cancer last year. My thoughts are with every person affected by cancer
