\you just take a handful of shots, starting at a low exposure and gradually increasing the exposure, then when you merge them together to create a composite. I still had to tweak it a bit,

Thanks sooo much, Jennifer, this was an HDR merge, my first attempt. Its a beautiful building, well worth a visit, but it was very dark so I was glad I’d taken my heavy tripod (which is actually taller than I am when fully extended!!!) so I could do a longish exposure. xx
