Today is a milestone for me…..... It is now a year since I joined RB and it has been a most interesting and enlightening experience. The milestone is also that my image
‘One day’, received its 200th comment… thank you Toasted Ghost!
‘Just Eloped’ received its 150th comment a few days ago and ‘A road less traveled’ is on 99 comments.
Two of my other images, (1)’The hippies have all gone now’ have also received numerous comments, which (pleasantly) surprised me, as I didn’t realize that so many people identified with that era….. or maybe they just like split -screen Kombis’!!!!!!
and….. (2) ‘The little outhouse on the prairie’, which I did for a bit of fun, not realizing the response to this piece would be so great (maybe it was just toilet humo(u)r!!!!!!!!)
What pleases me most is that most of the comments for my top 3 images were sincere and that viewers could identify with them….... my work is on an emotional level rather than just pure art, and reflects the true character of the subject as well as their personalities.
To those of you who have left comments…............ a BIG “thank you”. Your comments have inspired and encouraged me to do better and are always welcome.
