CASCADE
A fashion shoot in the Karroo, a beautiful semi-desert part of South Africa. The model was on top of a 100metre high cliff and I had to climb the opposite cliff face to get this shot. A really worthwhile effort..

Thanks everyone….. this was quite difficult, I had to clamber down and weigh the material down with small rocks, as the wind kept blowing it away! This is definitely a once off!

What I love about this, aside from the amazing dynamic and deep contrast, is the way you bring us zig-zagging UP the cascading trail to the model, placed perfectly in the spot where my eye wants to linger, standing in total majesty and defiance in front of that awesome, dramatic sky. This is one of my favorite BW images on RB.
